An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
